The Ground + Reset Practice
A soft framework for release ^ designed to be used, not just read.
Welcome back,
There are moments when something lingers.
A conversation that didn’t land right.
A person you’ve outgrown.
A version of yourself you no longer recognize, but still feel connected to.
It doesn’t always show up loudly.
Sometimes it’s just a subtle weight
a thought that returns at the wrong time,
a feeling that hasn’t fully left your body.
Not everything needs to be fixed.
But some things do need to be released.
The Ground + Reset Practice — Part of The Reset Series
A soft framework for moving through what you’ve been holding
without urgency, without force.
You can read through this once.
Or you can move through it slowly, in your own time.
Begin
Find a quiet place.
Sit or lie down in a way that feels supported.
Take a few slow breaths.
Let your body arrive before your mind tries to lead.
Name what remains
On a piece of paper, write the names of the people, situations, or seasons that still carry weight.
No story. No over-explaining.
Just the names.
Next to each one, write what it left you with
not the pain, but the awareness.
What did it show you about your boundaries?
Your needs?
Your capacity?
Sit with the truth
Pause here.
Let yourself feel what comes up without trying to move past it too quickly.
Ask quietly:
Who did I need to be in that moment to remain in my worth?
What did I not yet know how to choose?
Let the answers come without pressure.
Release
When you’re ready, read each name again.
And gently say:
I release what I carried here.
I take the lesson, and I leave the weight.
Forgiveness doesn’t always feel emotional.
Sometimes it’s a decision.
A shift in ownership.
Reset
Close your eyes for a moment.
Let your breath slow.
Let your body recalibrate.
Then write a single line to carry forward
not a loud affirmation, but something steady.
A sentence that feels like truth, not performance.
Return
This isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about returning to yourself
with more clarity, more discernment, and less attachment to what no longer fits.
Release creates space.
And space allows something quieter, and more aligned, to emerge.
If you want to move through this in a more structured, repeatable way,
the guided version of the Ground + Reset Practice is now available.
Volume I — The Grounding Practice
